Cette rubrique abordera les codes ASCII et comment écrire un programme pour imprimer une table ASCII dans le langage de programmation C. ASCII signifie Code américain normalisé pour l'échange d'information . Le code ASCII est un système de codage de caractères utilisé pour définir la valeur des éléments de caractères de base pour l'échange d'informations dans les ordinateurs et autres appareils électroniques.
De plus, le code ASCII est une collection de 255 symboles dans le jeu de caractères, divisés en deux parties, le code ASCII standard et le code ASCII étendu. Le code ASCII standard va de 0 à 127 et comporte 7 bits, et le code ASCII étendu de 128 à 255 comporte 8 bits. Ces caractères sont une combinaison de lettres symboliques (majuscules et minuscules (a-z, AZ), chiffres (0-9), caractères spéciaux (!, @, #, $, etc.), signes de ponctuation et caractères de contrôle. Par conséquent, nous peut dire, chaque caractère a sa propre valeur ASCII.
Par exemple, lorsque nous saisissons une chaîne sous la forme « HELLO », l'ordinateur ne stocke pas directement la chaîne que nous avons saisie. Au lieu de cela, le système stocke les chaînes dans leur valeur ASCII équivalente, telle que « 7269767679 ». La valeur ASCII de H est 72, E est 69, L est 76 et O est 79.
