La méthode compare() de la classe Java Long est utilisée pour comparer numériquement deux objets longs.

Syntaxe:

 public static int compare(long x, long y) 

Paramètre:

La méthode ci-dessus se compose de deux paramètres :

1. La première valeur longue qui doit être comparée.
2. La deuxième valeur longue qui doit être comparée.

Retour:

La méthode ci-dessus renvoie :

1. 0 si x==y.
2. Une valeur inférieure à 0 si x
3. Une valeur supérieure à 0 si x>y.

Exemple 1
